Baking Traditions is a hand-craft bakery. We specialize in scratch made breads, breakfast pastries, and other treats – keeping to the traditional recipes to retain product authenticity as much as possible Products are made in small batches, in the tradition passed down for generations in Nancy’s family.

Nancy began vending at the Lawrence Farmers’ Market in 2016. In the fall of 2018, she opened a retail storefront and commercial bakery in Topeka. We love the Lawrence Farmers’ Market!!

We use Kansas grown and milled wheat flour from Stafford County Mills. We also utilize produce, such as peaches, berries, and rhubarb from local producers as much as possible. While we make some products that do not contain nuts, or eggs, or dairy, or wheat ingredients, all products are made in the same kitchen where wheat, nuts, eggs, and dairy are used.

Find Baking Traditions on Saturdays at the Lawrence Farmers’ Market, and online at their website, on Facebook, on Instagram, and by email at BakingTraditions@yahoo.com or phone call at 785-783-8029.
