Community Booth

We offer Community Booth spaces that are available to both non-profit and for-profit organizations and businesses. Community Booth spaces are an important part of the Lawrence Farmers’ Market because they allow organizations to spread the word and have the opportunity to speak directly to the public.

Please review the appropriate application, read all of the requirements, and submit the finished application to the Market Manager.

Performing artists are recognized as significant contributors to the festive atmosphere of the Lawrence Farmers’ Market. Therefore the market permits two musical performance groups to play and one performing artist (magician, balloon artist, etc.) to perform during each Saturday Market. Types of entertainment that will be accepted within the market include: acoustic (non-electric), percussion and vocal musicians, children’s puppet theater, clowns, improv performers, jugglers and magicians. Performing artists are required to complete the LFM performing artist application and comply with the LFM guidelines for performing artists.

Volunteering at Market

We are now accepting volunteers for Saturday market. Once you complete the fields below, you will be contacted by the Market Manager on your availability. You will then confirm your availability to be at market that week. Please indicate below the shifts you are available for. Volunteers will be on their feet and outdoors, so come prepared! You will be assisting with important Lawrence Farmers’ Market research, and helping conduct events.

Data Collection Volunteers

The Lawrence Farmers’ Market is launching our Make Market Count campaign this year! We are looking for volunteers to help us with data collection this season for the both the Saturday and Tuesday markets.

Data collection will include conducting customer counts for the first 10 minutes of every hour; conducting Rapid Market Assessments (here’s a great link about RMA’s; and noting the range of products available that day.

No worries if you don’t have any experience with data collection! We will be training all volunteers and it really is a simple process!

 After you have completed three full volunteer shifts, you will receive a FREE LFM Season T-Shirt! Shifts are: 7am-9am; 9am-11am; or 7am-11am. Please indicate your availability in the form below.
