At the end of every Market season, we host the Holiday Farmers Market, filled with over 50 vendors selling wonderful gifts, beautiful holiday decorations, and everything you need to get through the winter.
Held on the second Saturday in December, this Lawrence holiday tradition draws over 10,000 customers from all over to shop at this special, festive open-air market.
This year, the Holiday Farmers Market will be held once again at the Douglas County Fairgrounds’ Open Pavilion. Over 50 regular-season Lawrence Farmers Market Vendors will be there to showcase a "craftier" side of themselves.
Our Vendors bring custom woodworks, creative kits, specialty treats, gift baskets, beautiful house plants, local winter produce, and hot food & drinks to sustain the serious Holiday shoppers. Customers can spend the day shopping, eating, and mingling in our open-air, covered Holiday Farmers Market.
Fun for the whole family, there will even be a visit from Santa Claus, who came all the way from the North Pole to visit with the kids!
Local musical groups will add to the magic and ambience by performing everyone's favorite Holiday hits.
Once you’re done shopping, stop by our free Gift Wrapping Station to get everything wrapped!
Our Vendors truly enjoy this unique Holiday Market and love having one last opportunity to see their customers before the season is over.
