🎄 See you at the OPEN PAVILION at the Douglas County Fairgrounds on SATURDAY, December 10 from 9am-4pm!
🧣Bundle up for our Outdoor Winter Holiday Farmers Market - plenty of space heaters and vendors under the covered roof + hot food and beverages to keep you warm and toasty while you shop!
🚙Directions: Take 19th Street East from Mass St, go past Harper St and enter off 19th Street across from the humane society!

Lawrence Farmers' Market cannot happen without support from community members like you on this #givingtuesday

In 2022 we added 18 new vendors! That is 18 new small businesses bringing you locally grown and produced food.

Not only did we have locally grown and ground flour, collaborative concoctions of ice cream and donuts, fresh-pressed juices, and grass-fed beef, we also were the only place in Lawrence to drop off food waste to be turned into compost!

With all of our vendors coming from within 50 miles of Lawrence, you know your dollars spent with these businesses stay local and stretch further without the middle-man of the grocery store where farmers only see $0.17 of every dollar you spend.

Our vendors donate ~7000 pounds of local food every year as well as they participate in Double Up Food Bucks and Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Programs, giving everyone, regardless of income level, access to local healthy food!

We are depending on your support to continue to bring local food to our community.

💌 a little recap of the past month! We have had an incredible season here at market, thank you all for playing a part in supporting local food systems!

📝 tomorrow you’ll find squash, radish, spinach, peppers, honey, flour, quiche, baked goods, coffee, microgreens, kombucha, and meat at market!

🎄 You’ll still be able to find at least 40 of our vendors this season for one final Saturday! On December 10th we’ll be at the fairgrounds for our holiday market!

🍞 🪡 craft season starts in November and goes until the 19th!

👩‍🌾 we are an agriculture based market, meaning our vendors have to sell foods and products that can be grown or raised.
In November though, they are allowed to sell other crafts that they make! Perfect place for holiday shopping!
